Here goes... It's booked. My initial assessment is booked for Monday, 14th April (2025). The price for the assessment as a single woman in the UK is £485. It is £590 for a couple. This varies from clinic to clinic, but I chose TFP Nurture Fertility based on the good reviews and the location. Before TFP Nurture Fertility in Nottingham can go ahead with the IUI procedure, they need to do some tests to figure out what my current fertility status is. I've never tried to get pregnant (ever), and I've never accidentally got pregnant, so I have no idea what is going on. The price includes: AMH blood test, AFC scan and consultation based on the results. The AMH blood test is to see what my egg reserve is (this depletes as you get older and closer to menopause - remember some people hit menopause earlier than others), and the AFC scan is to see if I have an egg present during this cycle (to check I am ovulating normally).
